About Me

Education:
UCLA, Masters in Social Welfare, specialization in Children and Families
Brown University, B.A. in International Relations, specializing in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy
New York University: Tisch School of the Arts, Drama
Experience:
Prior to establishing a private practice, I completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship program in Child, Adolescent, and Parent Psychotherapy at the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center in Los Angeles, where I received intensive, specialized education and training in child development and psychotherapy. Before that, I obtained significant clinical training and experience in many locations, including community mental health agencies, schools, and in-patient treatment facilities. My knowledge and experience encompasses play therapy with children, and in individual and group therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
My background in performance, drama, and art inform my therapy practice and I use these modalities, when appropriate, to encourage full self-expression in my clients. Additionally, my study of international relations has taught me cultural competence and the importance of conflict resolution.
